Theodor Höijer

Carl Theodor Höijer, born February 20, 1843 in Helsinki, died October 31, 1910 in Helsinki, was a Finnish architect.
Höijer was one of the leading Finnish architects of his time. He was finished with his architectural studies at the Royal Academy of Art in Stockholm in 1868. Along with Frans Anatolius Sjöström, Axel Loenbom and Theodor Decker, he had an architectural firm the years 1872-1876. After the firm ended, he worked alone as an architect.
The years 1872-1876 Höijer was the first teacher of architectural drawing in the Polytechnical Institute (now University of Technology, Helsinki). He taught a second period from 1902 to 1903.
